Utsab Chatterjee becomes International Master today...

Utsab Chatterjee becomes the latest International Master of India Utsab drew his penultimate round game at Chhattisgarh CM Trophy GM Masters against GM Mitrabha Guha to score his final IM-norm. He earned his first IM-norm at Sunway Sitges International Chess Festival 2021, second norm was at MPL 58th National Senior 2022. He crossed 2400 at MPL 50th National Junior Open 2022. Despite losing 71 Elo rating points this past summer, Utsab continued to work hard and strive towards strengthening his game. Currently his score is 6.5/9, with a round to go at Chhattisgarh, Raipur. Congratulations to Utsab, his family and his team. We hope he continues his journey towards the GM title and achieve more accolades.
