Our affiliated unit Purba Bardhaman Chess Association organized an "All Bengal Open Rapid Chess Tournament" at Rabindra Bhawan, Bardhaman on Sunday, the 18th September, 2022. The tournament got a grand success under the able guidance of Mr. Mainuddin Chowdhury (Sajal), President of Purba Bardhaman Chess Association. Mr. Shiladtya Koner was the Tournament Director. 100 chess players from different districts took part in this one day rapid tournament. After 6 rounds of games under Swiss League system, Sri Arpan Das (Jr) became the Champion and Sri Chiranjit Manna became Runner up.
