NOTICE FOR PLAYERS AND ORGANISATION

This is for knowledge of all concerned that an unauthorised organisation, which has been disaffiliated by AICF, has announced some chess tournaments on 2nd & 3rd October 2021 which they named as State Championships with a mala fide intention to misguide/mislead people. The fact is that they have no right to conduct any State Championship as they have been disaffiliated by AICF. Moreover there will be NO SELECTION FOR ANY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP from these tournaments. Ranks obtained in these tournaments will not be treated as official ranking. Hence, it is clear that they are calling it State Championships with an ulterior motive. We would like to inform all concerned that we have given approval to a tournament to be organised by Modern Chess Academy at Rishra on 2nd October 2021. They are trying to damage/hamper that Tournament by putting their date of the Tournament on the same date as Rishra Tournament. On the one hand, they are preaching that they want to give playing facilities to all the players, while on the other hand, they are trying to put hindrance against a declared Tournament. Moreover, few months back, they effected an injunction against us restraining us to conduct tournaments. They are changing faces as and when necessary. We would like to make it clear that we do not want to deprive players from participating in tournaments, but at the same time, we want to ensure that organisers should act with integrity, transparency and responsibility so that players are not cheated or affected.
