Attentional to All Chess Community

New year greetings to you all. This is for the notice of all concerned that an All Bengal Rapid Chess Tournament is being organised by a club at Bankura. They are organising this event with another club BCA, which has no recognition or affiliation under Sara Bangla Daba Sangstha or All India Chess Federation or even Bankura Zilla Daba Sangstha, the authorised District Association of Bankura. However, the most alarming thing is that they are using the Logo of All India Chess Federation and FIDE (World Chess Federation) without their permission or approval and in doing so, they are misleading the chess players with an ulterior motive. Please note that Aicf and FIDE logos are normally used in rating tournaments. We would advise all our registered chess players and the chess community as a whole to take decision accordingly. We pledge to keep the chess arena of West Bengal clean, transparent and corruption-free.
