WB State U-19 Open & Girls Fide Rated Chess Championship 2024 has been started at Netaji Sports Complex Banquet Hall, Sonarpur Station Road, Kamalgazi on 15th August 2024. Total 167 players (in Both Groups) from different District of West Bengal. The tournament will be swiss system 9 rounds. Final Round game & Prize Distribution Ceremony on 19th August 2024.

The Tournament was inaugurated by Firdousi Begum MLA (Sonarpur Uttar Assembly Constituency by making first move on the chess board. Janab Nazrul Ali Mondal, CIC, Sonarpur-Rajpur Municipality & Mr. Dipankar Chakraborty also present in the inauguration ceremony.
