NOTICE TO ALL CONCERN

This is for the knowledge of all concerned that one Mr. Bhogirath Halder has published a brochure regarding a tournament supposed to be held on 16th June, 2024 which will be conductrd by "Halder Chess Academy" which is not a recognised or approved organisation. Previously he organised a tournament on 24th March, 2024 under the banner of "Chess Lovers Forum" (a fake organisation with no other member than himself). He fraudulently submitted some false names as President/ Secretary, who denied there involvement afterwards. In that tournament, he collected huge amount of Entry Fees but could not make sitting arrangements for many players. Guardians made tremendous protest and finally police authorities intervened and cancelled the tournament. In spite of our several instructions, he did not refund the entry fees collected from the players. Now he is taking another chance by announcing a tournament without the permission or approval of SBDS or any District Association. He has planned to engage some unlicenced and unqualified arbiters who have no knowledge of conducting any chess tournament. Under the circumstances, we would advise all the players, guardians and chess lovers not to get into any trap. It should be remembered that players should take part only in tournaments which are approved and recognised by Sara Bangla Daba Sangstha.
