This is for the knowledge of all concerned that in order to rejuvenate the chess activities in our Paschim Medinupur district, a new organisation have been formed in the name of "Paschim Medinupur Zilla Daba Sangstha" which has been duly registered under W. B. Societies Registration Act, 1961 and has been granted affiliation by Sara Bangla Daba Sangstha. We hereby declare that henceforth, "Paschim Medinipur Zilla Daba Sangstha" will be the parent body of chess in the district of Paschim Medinipur. Only this organization will be eligible for conducting District Chess Championships and select players /teams for State Championships. We hereby request all the players, guardians, organisers and chess lovers of Paschim Medinipur to extend your helping hands to this new association and work together for a glorious future of your district.
