Overwhelming success of WGM Mary Ann Gomes & WIM Arpita Mukherjee of Bengal

Bengali girls Mary and Arpita made great achievements in 49th National Womens Chess Championship held at Ahmedabad from 30 June to 10 July, 2023. Mary has become the 1st Runner Up while Arpita has become the 2nd Runner up in this strong field. IM Padmini Rout has become Champion of this event with 9 out of 11 points, while Mary & Arpita got 8.5 points each.
