All India Chess Federation, in its Special General Body Meeting held on 26th March, 2023, has decided to de-link the AICF registration from State and District registration with effect from 01 April, 2023. The annual Registration Fee of AICF is fixed as Rs.300. States and Districts can charge Rs.150 and Rs.75 respectively as their Annual Registration Fees. In view of the above, Sara Bangla Daba Sangstha has taken a very thoughtful step for the benefit of the chess players of the State. It has been decided that apart from AICF Registration, there will be a single window Registration for the players of West Bengal which will cover both State & District Registrations. Under this system, a player will be required to make a single combined online registration under SBDS by paying Rs.150. No player will be required to make any separate registration under his District Chess Association. The above system will remain effective from 1st April, 2023 to 31st March, 2024.
