GOUR BANGO HUB STARTED TODAY

In an elegant program today on 08.04.2023, GOUR BANGO HUB, comprising of three districts, Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur & Malda, has been inaugurated today by Arjun Awardee Grandmaster and also the President of SBDS, Shri Dibyendu Barua, International Arbiter of Chess & Treasurer of SBDS, Shri Asit Baran Choudhury, Senior National Arbiter of Chess & Vice-President of SBDS, Shri Tapas Jiban Sarkar in presence of the members of the same, Shri Subrata Sarkar, Secretary, UDDCA, Shri Anjan Chattopadhyay, President, DDZDS, Shri Rajesh Gupta, Secretary, MZDS. Shri Atin Sengupta, Vice-President of SBDS, will act as the CHAIRMAN of GOUR BANGO HUB. 40 Chess Boards with Coin sets and10 Chess Clocks (DGT-3000) have been handed over today, by GM Shri Dibyendu Barua on behalf of Sara Bangla Daba Sangstha, to the GOUR BANGO HUB for the Chess related activities under this Hub. ACTIVITY & RESPONSIBILITY TO BE UNDERTAKEN BY THE HUB :- 1) To Organise/ monitor Coaching Camps/ Workshops & other Chess Development activities within the concerned districts. 2) To organise/ monitor tournaments within hub’s jurisdiction. 3) To monitor/ co-ordinate District Chess Championships in each District. 4) To introduce Chess Coaching in Schools under “Chess in School” program of AICF & SBDS. 5) To procure chess boards & coin sets, chess clocks and to utilise those within their areas.
