We would like to inform all concerned that W.B. State Under-17 Boys & Girls Chess Championship, which was to be held from 4th to 7th April, 2023, has been cancelled as WBBSE Exams have been scheduled between 1st to 12th April, 2023 in many schools which is clashing with the dates of the U-17 Championship. Many guardians have requested us to change the schedule of this event. We have decided to conduct "W.B. State Junior (U-19) Open & Girls FIDE Rated Chess Championship" from 22nd to 25th April, 2023 at the same venue. Selection for National Under-19 & Under-17 Boys & Girls Chess Championship will be made on the basis of ranking in this event. Those who have already paid Entry Fees for Under-17 may adjust the same against Entry Fees of Under-19 or may ask for refund. The Brochure for the State Junior Championship will be published soon.
