10th Grandmaster of Bengal and the 78th Grandmaster of India arrived at Dumdum Airport today, 4th January, 2023

Sri Koustav Chatterjee, the 10th Grandmaster of Bengal and the 78th Grandmaster of India arrived at Dumdum Airport today, 4th January, 2023 after completing his final GM Norm at MPL 59th National Senior Chess Championship held at Delhi from 22-12-22 to 03-01-23. 19 year old Koustav achieved FIDE Rating of 2508 and secured 7th rank in the above national meet. Sri Debasish Barua, Vice President of SBDS, is receiving him from the Airport and felicitating on behalf of SBDS. We extend our hearty congratulations to him and wish him a bright career.
